It’s spring in KC – although it actually feels like summer already! Here are a few photos I shot last week, for the first time in a while. It felt great! Nothing particularly exciting here, but I’m happy to be out shooting photos again. My photo buddy, Dara, and I went to Loose Park to wander around and get the creative juices moving.
Getting warmed up – and the wind wouldn’t cooperate! So I decided to go with it.
An almost fall mixture of burgandy and soft yellows.
A little more up close and personal.
And a little brighter purple. Remembering that vertical shots are nice, too!

I love this combination of purples and greens.
I like how the background disappears and we’re left with just the not-really-in-focus yellow flowers.
