These are short documentary films I’ve shot, written, and edited, along with the help of some great friends.

Gorilla Theater – A short video about a fun and unique theatre group in Kansas City who put on a Greek play every summer. The video was created in 2002 and shown on KCPT’s This Week In Review. It was written, filmed, narrated, and edited along with Mary C. Taylor and Ted McKim.

Car Wash – A short video edited in-camera and set to tango music about a packed car wash on a blue-sky winter’s day. The video was created in 2004 with Ann Grace and Christina Nordhaus as an assignment in our UMKC documentary class. We timed the music before we shot, went through the car wash several times to the amusement of the crew, and had no idea what we had until we laid the music down later. Very fun!

KC Community Mediation Center – A short video for the KC Community Mediation Center’s “Peace by Piece – Mediating Our Differences for a Peaceful Kansas City” fundraiser 11/15/11 with KC Mayor, Sly James. We put this video together in a short time, but had a lot of fun doing it, and I love what CMC does – assist and train people with new skills and knowledge they can use to keep the conflicts of everyday life from escalating into senseless violence. A great concept, and they can use your help and support!
